Abstract

The study aimed to identify the human foundations of the Islamic military system in light of the Holy Qur’an, clarify the concept and tasks of military human resource management, and emphasize the necessity of possessing the qualities of both soldiers and leaders. It also sought to highlight the importance of adhering to the guidance of the Qur’an in this regard, as it represents a source of strength and advancement. Furthermore, the study examined the Qur’anic approach to connecting military personnel, both leaders and soldiers, with the Book of Allah through education and guidance. The researcher employed the inductive method to trace Qur’anic verses related to the topic, in addition to the analytical and deductive method to derive insights, benefits, and rulings associated with the subject. The study concluded that the Holy Qur’an referred to several important factors emphasizing the necessity of enhancing the human foundations of the Islamic military system and highlighted their role in determining the status of the Islamic army. Among the most prominent recommendations were establishing mutual understanding among different military forces, unifying military terminology through a standardized glossary applicable at all military levels, and preparing military experts and consultants with experience, knowledge, and competence to provide sound guidance in times of crises, challenges, and success.
