Obstacles Facing Vocational Education Specialization Students in The Study of Their Academic Specialization from Their Point of View and Its Relationship to The Gender Variable

Abstract

The aim of this study was to identify the obstacles faced by students in the field of vocational education in the study of their academic specialization from their point of view and their relationship with the gender variable in the University of Al-Balqa' Applied University. The study sample consisted of (100) students for the second semester of the year (2016-2017). The researcher prepared a questionnaire to identify the obstacles of the study of the academic specialization and its validity and stability were verified. The study, after conducting the appropriate statistical treatments, reached the following results: 1. There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α=0.05) among the obstacles faced by students in the field of vocational education in their study of their academic specialization from their point of view, which is attributed to the gender variable (males, females). 2. Obstacles related to the society on the first degree with a total rate of (2.39%). 3. Obstacles related to the teaching methods on the second degree by a total of (2.32%). 4. Obstacles related to the course on the third degree with a total rate of (2.21%).
