The present study aimed to identify the levels of self-awareness and life satisfaction among students of Al-Quds Open University in the southern governorates of Palestine. It also sought to examine the relationship between self-awareness and life satisfaction, as well as to investigate differences in the levels of self-awareness and life satisfaction according to gender. The study sample consisted of 400 male and female students. The researchers employed the descriptive-analytical approach to assess the levels of the study variables. Data were collected using a self-awareness and life satisfaction questionnaire developed by the researchers. The findings revealed above-average levels of both self-awareness and life satisfaction. The relative weight of self-awareness reached 81.56%, while that of life satisfaction reached 79.74%. The results also indicated a positive correlation between self-awareness and life satisfaction. Furthermore, no statistically significant differences were found in the levels of self-awareness and life satisfaction attributable to gender. In light of these findings, the study recommended organizing seminars and awareness programs aimed at enhancing students' self-awareness and developing their ability to regulate their emotions, thereby contributing to higher levels of life satisfaction.
