Abstract

The research investigates the effectiveness of two kinds of Electronic Facebook Discussions: (Electronic Synchronous Discussions and Electronic Asynchronous Discussions) on developing scientific research skills among Al-Aqsa University students. The researcher followed the experimental method; the research's sample consisted of two experimental groups, each one of them consisted of 20 students. The researcher also used the evaluation card to measure the skills of preparing scientific researches. The results revealed the effectiveness of electronic synchronous and asynchronous discussions on developing such skills. Additionally, the research showed the presence of statistically significant difference between electronic synchronous and asynchronous in favor of electronic synchronous discussions in developing the skills of preparing scientific researches among the students of Al-Aqsa University of Gaza.
