The Role of Administrative Policies in Enhancing the Efficiency of the Human Resources: Applied Study on Gaza Strip Hospitals

Abstract

The study aimed to examine the role of effective administrative policies in enhancing the efficiency of human resources at hospitals in Gaza Strip through identifying the experiments and the administrative practices that enhance the efficiency of human resources and to provide necessary recommendations for their development and consolidation in ways which empowers the human element to achieve the objectives and to contribute to avoid the problems in the future. This study used the descriptive analytical approach. The questionnaire was designed to collect data. It included 45 items distributed in to four dimensions. 70 questionnaires were distributed to middle and senior management staff at hospitals of Gaza Strip. The results of the study showed a positive correlation between administrative policy and enhancement of the efficiency of human resources. The most important recommendations were the need to develop leadership skills through training and involving employees in decision-making and the development of regulations concerning administrative policies and keep up with rapid global developments.
