The study aimed to identify the impact of the dimensions of strategic planning on crisis management in Al-Azhar Institutes in the Gaza Strip, by examining the relationship between the dimensions of strategic planning, represented by (strategic vision, strategic mission, strategic objectives, strategic analysis, and strategic choice), and the level of crisis management implementation. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was developed for data collection and was distributed to the study sample, which consisted of (150) male and female employees working in Al-Azhar Institutes in the Gaza Strip. The study adopted the descriptive-analytical approach. The results of the study showed that the level of strategic planning implementation in Al-Azhar Institutes in the Gaza Strip was high, and that the level of crisis management implementation was also high. The findings indicated that the dimensions of strategic planning represented by (strategic analysis and strategic choice) had an impact on crisis management, while no statistically significant effect was found for the dimensions of (strategic vision, strategic mission, and strategic objectives) on crisis management. Based on these findings, the study recommended the necessity of enhancing the implementation of strategic planning dimensions, paying attention to the strategic analysis of the internal and external environment, developing strategic plans and alternatives, in addition to developing employees’ capabilities in the field of crisis management through training in decision-making skills and dealing with emergency situations.
