Abstract

The study aimed at clarifying the impact of the entrepreneurial orientation (creativity, seizing opportunities, risk taking, competition) on enhancing knowledge capital (human capital, structural capital, and relationship capital) from the prospective of administrative leaders at technical colleges in Gaza Strip. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach and the questionnaire was used as a main tool for data collection consisting in its final form of (49) items. The study population included (135) administrative leaders working in the largest (4) technical colleges in terms of the number of employees. The comprehensive survey method was used in the study, and the recovery rate of questionnaire was (87%). The study used the statistical analysis program (SPSS) for data entry and processing.The results of this study are the following: there is a statistically significant positive correlation between the dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation (creativity, seizing opportunities, risk taking, and competition) and knowledge capital in technical colleges in the Gaza Strip and there is a positive effect between the dimensions of the entrepreneurial orientation on knowledge capital in these technical colleges. Also, there are statistically significant differences between the averages of the respondents on the entrepreneurial orientation and the enhancement of knowledge capital attributable to the institution in favor of the University College of Applied Sciences, and there are statistically significant differences between the averages of the respondents on the entrepreneurial orientation and enhancing knowledge capital due to the personal job qualities (genders, age, Job title, academic qualification and years of service).
