Management by values and its relationship to administrative creativity among public school principals from the teachers’ perspective in Palestine

The study aimed to identify the relationship between management by values and administrative creativity among public school principals in the southern governorates of Palestine. The researcher adopted the descriptive approach, and the study population consisted of male and female teachers working in public schools in the southern governorates of Palestine, totaling (450) teachers, while the study sample consisted of (150) teachers. The findings revealed that the level of management by values ranged between (3.653–3.883), with a relative weight ranging from (73.1%–77.7%), indicating a high level from the teachers’ perspective. The dimension of organizational justice ranked first, while the dimension of integrity and transparency ranked last, with a relative weight of (73.1%). The arithmetic mean of administrative creativity reached (3.698) with a relative weight of (74%), and the fluency dimension ranked first among the dimensions of administrative creativity, whereas flexibility ranked last. The results also showed a strong positive statistically significant correlation at the significance level of (1%) between management by values and administrative creativity. The study recommended developing the skills of principals and teachers through training workshops and seminars supervised by the Ministry of Education, in addition to hosting experts in the field of administrative creativity to enhance their professional skills.
