The impact of a proposed training program based on the transformational approach in enhancing soft skills appropriate for the labor market - An applied study on a sample of Palestinian university graduates in Gaza governorates

The current study aimed to identify the impact of a proposed training program based on the transformational approach in enhancing the soft skills appropriate for the labor market among graduates of Palestinian universities in the governorates of Gaza. The study used both the descriptive analytical approach, and the experimental approach. The researcher applied the program to a number of (25) graduates from Palestinian universities who were chosen by chance from those who frequent the office of the Deanship of Social Development and Continuing Education at Al-Aqsa University over a period of two weeks. They were all graduates of the Education Division and the College of Management and Finance. One of the results of the study was that there were statistically significant differences at the level (a≤0.05) between the average scores of graduates in the soft skills questionnaire before and after the training program, which are very significant values. The study also indicated that the size of the effect of using the training program based on the transformational approach In the development of all specific soft skills he received a high score (6.560). The study recommended the necessity of adopting the transformational training philosophy or approach in universities. As well as the establishment of a transformational training center in each university.
